The Spring open bonspiel went off without a hitch once again two weekends ago, with 30 teams competing from Winnipeg, MB to St. Paul, MN and everywhere in between! Team Baldwin from Vita, MB pulled off a victory against the hometown rink of Skyler Slusar in 8 ends to take the first event honors. The second event title was shared by the Fenner rink of Bemidji and the Roland rink of Grand Forks. 3rd event went to the Gartner rink out of St. Paul, and last but not least 4th event went to the Nick Anderson rink. Thank you to everyone that participated in this great tournament as well as all of you that stopped by to spectate. It was the perfect ending to yet another great year of curling in Hallock!
